Day Supports

Carolinas Home Care Agency, Inc. Day Supports program provides assistance to individuals 18 years or older. It is primarily a group service that provides assistance to the participant with acquisition, retention, or improvement in self-help, socialization and adaptive skills. Individual must have an intellectual disability such as mental retardation, brain injury, Autism, Cerebral Palsy and/or a condition closely related to mental retardation and measures the person's severity of disability and be on the innovation waiver to obtain this service which this is the entrance criteria. Day Supports shall focus on enabling the participant to attain or maintain his or her maximum functional level and is coordinated with any physical, occupational, or speech therapies listed in the Individual Support Plan.
